This crock will keep butter fresh and spreadable without refrigeration. First pack slightly softened butter into the lid, then put water into the bottom section and replace the lid being alert for any water overflow. This will form an airtight seal keeping the butter fresh. Leave the crock on the counter or table and use the lid upside-down to serve. Keep out of direct sunlight.
