Sunset Canyon’s pottery is handmade and entirely lead free. Each piece is fired to a temperature of at least 2300 degrees, making it dishwasher and microwave safe, non-toxic and impervious to abrasives. When used for baking, its life will be greatly extended by beginning in a cool oven and avoiding other thermal shocks. Sunset Canyon pottery cannot be place over open flame or under broilers.
Sunset Canyon offers a wide variety of specialty pottery pieces. Although our online selection is somewhat limited, you can special order everything from French butter keepers, tortilla warmers and quiche dishes to colanders, honey pots and dinner plates.
Due to the handmade nature of this high quality pottery, it is not unusual to see slight differences from item to item with respect to size, shape and glaze.
